oh thats a lovely comment maree, thanks. give me a bc topic and i will write you a poem about it!

Hi Vicki very well done on completing your rads. You have so often posted to give such sincere and heart felt comments and support to other posters along the way and shoild be so proud of your achievement. I too remember your first post and it was so poigmamt and sums up the BC range of distress and emotions evoked when first dx and for a while after too.I had a tear or 2 when I re read it. Just read on a thread about it- the BC experience- being likened to knocking a wall down and then climbibg over the rubble. That feels like where I am at climbing over the rubble of my dismantled life 6 weeks or so post rads. But I do feel some energy seeping back and feel more cheerful more frequently than I have for some while, so hope this really does mark a step forwards and not as so often in the past followed by 2 steps back.Hope you all continue to gather in strength physically and emotionally. We have all come so far in this b****y awful truck and train wreck of a year and as in the words of that song ‘Things can only get better’. Love to all of you. How about another ode Vicki? Love and +ve vibes to you all. Jackie

YOU DID IT!!! Well done my partner in treatment! I am really proud of you and yes you are quite right to be proud of yourself too.

You led the way and I followed and helped to warn me of how things would be and as they say…forewarned is forearmed.

Not good that you had to be here at all but if you hadn’t I would now be a very good friend less.

Now you can lead the way on getting life back on track…make sure it includes lots of garden centre trips, coffee and of course cupcakes.

Thanks so much everyone. Promise I will keep u all posted on how things progress. I read the paper and had a Danish pastry instead of going to hospital today. Was lovely! I suspect cakes will continue to feature high in my progress reports.

I also posted on facebook for the first time since dx. Felt like it was time to start reconnecting. Have had some lovely comments back. If anyone is on fb and would like to bey friend then pm me. I have to beg for friends since I have been bald…

Well done Vicki on finishing everything!

You must feel elated and deserve lots of celebrations. I’m enjoyed reading your posts and they were always funny but also gave good advice. All the best for the future,

love Sarahxx
