Hi, just a quick hello message to introduce myself.
I’m 42 and my gp has just refered me to our local breast clinic after I found a lump.
Fingers crossed its nothing to worry about, but having trouble staying positive (we had a terrible situation where my husbands testicular cancer was treated as an infection for 6 months! All ok in the end, just passed 3 years clear )
Found this forum when googling and found it helpful so I thought I’d join to perhaps voice my worries, get some support and, if I can, support others.

I’ve had none for nearly 6 years now (bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy 4 years ago and 2 years of zoladex before that due to endometriosis) so she said that Phyllodes tumour was an option too, most often these are benign too.
Fingers crossed it will be the first option.
Hubby being very patient with me, but he’s not much of a talker.
Thank you, that does make sense that they will check both, and I will be very grateful as you never know what’s there.
Getting more nervous waiting now. But trying hard to stay positive and fingers crossed I’ll be back on Easter Monday to let you know it was nothing sinister.
