HELLO…
HELLO… …I’m amazed at the way men with breast cancer are treated, it must be very frustrating for you all when majority of literature etc., is aimed at women.
i was pleased that suart won his fight for herceptin, but then as David said to me, no trials have ever been done on a man so who knows of what benefit it will be…hopefully it will be beneficial.
if anyone knows of or has any suggestions that i might be able to put forward to my local breast unit re., men with BC, i would be interested to here them, ie., lack of literature etc.,

Men with breast cancer Hi Karen
Thanks for the post. One thing you could do is to ask the local breast cancer clinic if they have copies of the publication produced especially for men.
It is a huge step forward having that available now but it won’t be much use unless it is there to be seen. They are easily available from BCC.
best wishes
Bill
leaflet I have had several of these sent to me and I have taken them to docs surgeries and asked them to display them …4 surgeries have now got a stock of these in their waiting rooms.
I always have a couple with me to leave where I think appropriate
