hi lucky me has just got a cancellation appointment so got told yestereday im in on tuesday for op.
so what i need to know is what pjs did everyone find best when i had my boob off i found button up front better coz i couldnt really lift my arm since id had my nodes out. but im hoping i wont have that problem this time but ill have drains and they are takin skin from my back. i just dont know please help xxxx

Same again - short, button up PJs are best. With any recon surgery you’ll find that for the first few days every time they do your obs, they’ll also want to check your new boob, particularly to see that the skin they have moved has ‘taken’ and has a good blood supply. Short ones are best, cos they’ll also want to check your back.

cotton would be good if you can find them. its quite hot at the moment. and something not so expensive so that you can thow them away and never wear them again. I found a pair that i liked in matalan boys department, nice and roomy under the arms, i just sewed up the flies.

I had Tram Flp reconstruction in Dec 2010. I got nice nighties in Primark with button front. Found them great. Looked nice and washed well and were cheap.

hi all thanks for replies. im now home after 10 days in and really pleased with my 2 new boobies. i had 8 drains whch was awful having to carry around. im bit stiff but feel ok.
new question now is when having them pumped up does it hurt? dont know if ill have them pumped next wk when dressing comes off or if i have to wait another wk. xxxxxxxxxxx
