Help! - Need Chillow Pillow
Help! - Need Chillow Pillow Hi everyone
I was wondering if anyone could give me a recommended web site where I could buy a chillow. I have been suffering badly with hot flushes since my op in 2004 and now its becoming unbearable. I really would appreciate any help you can give me.
Thank you Lizx
www.chillow.co.uk has them.Think this is where l got mine from about
£25. Got mine for flushes-not bad but does warm up well before end of night-think due to number of flushes!!takes bit of getting used to but is quite refreshing .

Liz, I hope you don’t mind but I didn’t have anything else to do so I ‘googled’ the Chillow for you. www.chillow.co.uk are obviously the original company but they charge £2.95 p&p, a site called www.kit2fit.com has them for £24.75 free p&p.
I did notice that chillow.co.uk offer a money back guarantee that I didn’t see on kit2fit but I guess it’s swings & roundabouts.
I just had to copy the following statement from yet another site though
“Remember the Chillow is not just for Mothers Day it’s a gift that will deliver that soothing, cooling comfort for a lifetime”
It just cracked me up, talk about a puppy is not just for christmas!
Hope you are feeling better soon Liz, good luck with the Chillow, hope it helps you get some well deserved rest.
Love, Valerie x
Thanx Many thanks to both of you for replying to my appeal. I will look into those sites tomorrow and perhaps order one. Thank you for helping me, I was getting rather desperate. Good luck all

Chillow pillow I bought a chillow pillow a few months ago as I too was fed up with the night sweats and the disturbed sleep. Unfortunately for me it did not agree with me and used to give me awful migraines when I used it even though I tried it several times under different layers of the pillow case but without success. I do suffer with migraines normally.
Mine was bought from the company soothsoft (I think) and they accepted the return of my pillow with a full refund minus the postage.
It sounded such a brilliant idea but alas not for me!! Fortunately the night sweats are improving. Hope it works for you if you get one.
Angela.
Veneflaxine Dear Liz,
if your flushes are really bad you might want to consider asking your GP for Veneflaxine tablets. I was prescribes 37.5mg daily dose and my flushes disappeared overnight! No more waking up in the night. Horray.
best

Thanx Many thanks to yu all for replying to my post. You have all proved to be very helpful in providing me with valuable advice on the Chillow Pillow. I am going to get one to see if it will help me, although feel that it might be more better for me to use it in the summer months, when the weather is a great deal warmer. Thank you all for your support.
Regards Liz xx
Hi Liz I got my chillow from the oncology dept. I use it just for as long as the flush lasts and then I drop it on the floor. That way I can pop off to sleep again quite quickly. I have also put a pillow case over mine, just incase I fall asleep before I’ve moved it. After a while it can be quite cold. I’m glad I got one. It certainly helps. Good luck with yours.
