I have never posted on here before but have met a few of you via Bristol secondary cancer day. I am having my 6th chemo on thurs, for secondary breast cancer which returned in my chest wall. Had a scan after 2nd chemo and tumour had shrunk considerably, im due another scan omorrow, but four days ago i noticed my lump has come back and has been sore one day and then really itchy the next. Feel very frightened by this. Can cancer come back during chemo??? Gonna try and see consultant tomorrow. Hope you can help. Thanks. Leigh
sorry im fairly new to cancer so i cant help you but hope that somebody can answer you soon. My lymph nodes have shrunk away but the place where they were is really itchy. Im having my 4th chemo tomorrow and im going to ask about it so will try and let you know about the itchy bit.
I was told today that my itchy is quite common and it is part of the healing process. Here’s hoping your healing.
