Insurance companies- always there to lend you an umbrella when it isn’t raining!
@arty1 so pleased to hear you had a bit of fun after all the rubbish.
My general wear and tear bad back is much helped by my Back Friend, a foldable lightweight moulded support that can easily be placed on a chair or car seat . Personally I find that really helps if I have to be in one position for a while.
It’s true @arty1 No matter how much I try to silence it and not tune in, it is always just there ready to drag me back down again given half the chance. It requires constant work at NOT letting it do that.
@carrie5 I’ve never heard that expression about lending an umbrella when it isn’t raining but I love it and shall adopt it forthwith! Going to check out Back Friend now. That sounds like something worth knowing about.
I did the same thing……can’t remember who it is who “borrowed it”….hey ho
@salbert@arty1 So turns out they hadn’t downloaded ny files from the portal so had nothing about me. I did ny best to explain plus my weird neurological symptons which she looked bemused by…. Anyhow she checked my lump said it feels like scar tissue and the ultra scan was squeaky clean. So all is good……yay!! She said they’d download my file from my precious place and take a look.
From this I’ve assumed ny neuro symptons haven’t alarmed then either- yay! and whatever my body’s protesting over its not cancer!!! Bring out the dancing ladies!!
My GP think its serious - she believes I have an entrapped spinal chord in my neck may need surgery…….but never fear am on MSKs snail trail…..
@Jaygo Extra plus! car park fee was £7.30. Cheaper than I first thought..
@arty1 thanks yes it really is. Theyve already done their letter and sent it through! Far more detail. They said the images from 2025 weren’t available but will request and contact me if theres a need. How amazing! Such a contrast to where I was before. Im glad I moved!
