HER2+ and need some buddies

Hey Salvert,

Wow that sounds amazing……one for the memory books. And the good news is you can happily delete those panda eyes but not the feelings from tbe recall if u want!!:joy:

I had a phone call with a nhs dietician today. She was lovely and she was busily writing everything down as she said she has learnt so much from me. I think that may have been the wrong way round……:joy::rofl::thinking:

Great to hear you are participating in the research into fatigue. BCN have a section called Voices where you can participate in online surveys, focus groups or 1:1 interviews helping with variety of aspects of bc. You choose what interests you, no commitment to do anything, so really flexible. My daughter and I will be helping Oxford Brookes facilitate a programme to help with lifestyle choices for families with breast cancer.

Great to catch up with the thread. Been away in West Yorkshire just outside Bradford. Wanted to see a number of Anglican Cathedrals in the area. We’d been to Salisbury Cathedral some months ago and there was a photography exhibition of all the Anglican Naves so we noted the ones we hadn’t seen. We managed to see 6.

I went to see my cardiologist to check on my SVT and she admitted for many years she just nodded at ladies who mentioned menopause or lack of oestrogen and side effects. But as she is now in that age range and taking HRT she acknowledges the problems especially for those of us who can’t take HRT. I also had my third annual mammogram with no areas of concern and due my final zoledronic next month.

I started couch to 5K to help with my cardiac function and bone density 6 weeks ago, I’m now on week 5. I must admit it’s not easy and need to take 2/3 days between run/walks to recover before doing it again. Not sure I will get to 5k, just pleased I can do something.

Take care all
