Is that Mog after those beautiful children books ?! if so… we have loads of them… use to read them to my kids when they were little…

Dear @templar-1310,

From one Mum to another.I felt I had to reply to you as we found ourselves in the same situation as yourself nearly four years ago.

Our daughter was 39 when she was diagnosed, completely out of the blue. She was fit, healthy and had a nine month old son our first grandchild and there was no breast cancer in the family. She was diagnosed with her2+.As other ladies have mentioned this type of breast cancer responds well to treatment.

I wish I’d known about this forum when she was diagnosed even though I had family support initially I didn’t know which way to turn.Fast forward and I’m now a volunteer for this charity.

I wanted you to know that after completing her treatment plan she is back to full health.

Please continue to keep us updated. This forum is amazing.

hello miimii90 !
thank you so very much, for your long reply and reaching out ! also for taking the time to write and provide so much info !
im reding once more your reply as i write to you, so i hope it will make sense to you, when you will be reading my reply…
unfortunately there are a few tests and results still pending for our daughter, one of them are the results from the CT scan- where we believe is the scan which can clarify, if the cancer has spread or not… obviously we are all very worried and scared about this one… hoping for not even worse news as the cancer diagnosis was already. but reading a lot through posts of so many woman on here, i figured very fast, that it can get much, much worse… but it couldnt also be more clear HOW MUCH hope, strength, power, fight and support in all of you is and how willing you are to share everything- most personal and often intimate things- with everyone… what i also love is, that everything is put with absolute honesty, no matter how sad, devestating or brutal some things are… i admire that !!! and all that gives me hope !
our daughter also not has had yet the results if she has the HER2 … so as you wonderfully did explained, we dont know yet, what treatment our daughter will get… but it looks like that they want to start chemo first.
it always astonishes me, how all you woman on here have this incredible knowledge and understanding of all these crazy medical terms and able to define between all this so very layered and complex stuff. i be honest, i find it difficult to keep up with it and to gain a full understanding… but i hope with time it will get better… but damn, isnt it a minefield !!!
and you are sadly right, you all dont have a choice… there is no mercy… and that is so very unfair … no one should have to go through this…
thank you also for the personal note at the end. it is very much appreciated !!
i also would like to wish you all the best… but most of all strength to be able to face all those things ahead of you ! please stay srong, never give up the fight and hope…
thank you so much again…

Experts would say that sugars and fats fuel normal cells too, and to deny yourself of these, can have other health effects. Cells can use alternative fuel to grow, such as proteins and cancer cells can likewise use alternative forms of fuel if sugars are not available. Beware of suggested radical diets. A balanced healthy diet that promotes a healthy weight, and regular exercise, is a reasonable aim.
