HER2postive cancer

Hi I was diagnosed with HER2 postive breast cancer in may tumor was 3 to 4 ctm cancer was in my nipple area and in my lymph nodes I’ve completed 6 rounds of chemo which has given me a complete response no sign of the tumor or the cancer in my lymph nodes due to start the herceptin injection next week plus due to have surgery before I had chemo the surgeon said single breast removal will that still be the case anyone been here or will he decide another procedure

Great news you have had a complete response to your chemo. Great tip re Herceptin, ask the nurse to inject a little then wait before slowly injecting the rest. This allows the local anaesthetic to work and helps with the stinging.

I had a bilateral lumpectomy as I had two separate cancers one in each naughty boob. One was HER2+ ER+ grade 2 20mm the other ER+ grade 1 9mm.
