hi just had no 11 after a break due to heart scan not up to scratch. i was just wondering if anyone out there is at same stage as me and generally how are they have a nice day all

Glad to hear that your echo is back on track. Am on my 17th Herceptin. Have never been able to tell what Herceptin side effects are as have had it alongside chemo from the off. I do feel tired, but don’t know whether it’s due to lack of sleep, 11 months of chemo or the Herceptin. As long as it does the job I can’t really complain!

I have had 11 Herceptin infusions so far and have had no significant side effects. Its a doddle after chemo apart from finding a good vein. However, I find I am picking up minor infections more often. In fact I am just getting over a stomach bug, so I think my immune system is not as high as it once was. My echos so far have been ok, so fingers crossed that all is well.

Just found small tender hard lump in the affected breast I am terrified have an appointment with onc tomorrow, I don’t know how I will get through the night and wait until 4pm tomorrow!

Went to onc appointment. She said lump was tiny, it feels about the size of a pea - it may be an infection she says but I need to have it checked out. Appointment with surgeon on Thursday, but if they do a biopsy it could be a week to 10 days until results. The waiting is awful and my whole family is very worried. Its the first time I have thought “why me” I have been so positive until now but dread going all through it again.
Brilliant News today! Had lump checked out and was told “normal glandular tissue” Can’t tell you all how relieved I am. Celebrated by going out for a nice lunch.
