I start herceptin on 11 November and will have it every 3 weeks for one year.
Did you have any side effects if you had this too ?

Sarah I finished Herceptin in August this year. I did not have any noticeable side affects although I did have a slightly runny nose day or two after treatment. In fact the runny nose was short term. I have recovered well from this treatment and did so I think by keeping fit by running and walking. I am not a natural runner so did it very slowly for about 30 minutes per week and still do. I can run a bit better now and my heart function is good. So stay healthy by watching your diet, some excersie and plenty of rest. good luck.

I just started Herceptin on 24th October. I have entered a trial that is looking at 6 months of Herceptin against the standard 12 months. I have been allocated the 6 month term. I cant say I have felt any major SE’s, slightly sniffly but that could be just normal time of year. Still have very bad legs and joints following chemo but no worse/better on Herceptin.
