hi saw onc fri and was asked if i would go on trial and have herceptin for 6 months instead of 12. just wondered if any of you lovely ladies are going to do it. if so what made you decide and if not why not. i am totally mixed uo about it.so any advice welcomed very hot and sunny already here in bedfordshire have a good day all

im on a year of herceptin and i would be a wee bit concerned if my onc suggested giving me less than the precsribed dose. be careful of trials, i no they are needed for progress and research but i was talked into a chemo trial by trialist nurse and once i had signed up she disappeared,never to be seen again. so got no support and really horrible side affects. from now on i stick to the conventional treatment plans.
