I wonderered if any of you have had any bad reactions to Herceptin. I have suffered with breathlessness . Tight chest . The onc even gav me a break for 2 months. I am currently on treatment 8 this coming Tuesday. Could you pls let me know if any of you have suffered any of these side effects. Everyone I have spoke to previously have been fine on Herceptin.

Presumably you are having regular heart scans during herceptin treatment? My herceptin was stopped altogether after 7 ttreatments because my heart was showing signs of being badly affected and my symptoms were similar to the ones you have described. Since I’ve stopped herceptin, those symptoms have gone completely so I’m hoping it won’t be too long before my heart gets back to normal. (I’m still having regular scans to check)
