Hi ladies has anyone on here had a full hestorectomy at a young age and then been diagnosed with breast cancer?
I am aged 41 and 20 days post op from single mastectomy. I had a hestorectomy in June 2015 because of severe endometriosis and was put straight onto HRT because of my age and all the other possible side effects (heart failure, orsteperosis, early ageing). I am now taking tamoxifen so am really worried about all the other menopausal symptoms. The hot sweats are a killer but I am hopefully having acupuncture to combat these in the next few weeks. Would be amazing to speak to anyone in a similar situation as me. Thanks

Other than the side effects of tamoxifen I am not able to give you any other advise but I just wanted to let you know that we are here for you and I am sure that very soon there will be one of our lovely ladies who will have had similar experiences to you who will be able to give you more support.
