Hi, I live in South Wales, I'm 43 and having chemo

I had surgary in September and am on my 5th cycle of chemo. It was posponed for a week as my white blood cell count was down.

I have mixed fellings of hope and negativity. My mood swings even take me by suprise somtimes, But most of all I don’t fell like I’m in my own skin.

Do you feel the same?

Hi tete a tet,
I know exactly how you feel,it does’nt help having chemo and taking steriods which i felt gave me a high but then i’d come down with such a low, very tearful.
BC changes everything,i long for that contented feeling back.
the only way i can describe it is, it’s as though i’m on the outside looking in at other peoples lives, going on as normal, how mine used to be before bc.I think it’s just going to take time.-The ladies on here have been a great support, and source of information.keep in touch Lesleyxx

Hi Tete a tete
Picked up your post whilst trawling through my area section. You live in the same area as me and I’m hoping that you’re feeling better now than you did a few weeks ago. You’ve expressed many of the feelings we all have. Take care.
