Hi Debs
Nice to hear from you again! Glad it all went well for you. I too often have lower back pain though I think improving a bit as I get more mobile. Rest as much as you can, enjoy being home with your family and keep us up to date. I’m definitely able to do a bit more each day though sometimes the temptation to do to much takes over and then I pay for it. All in all though am glad its all behind me and great not to have to worry about prosthesis again.
love Twinmummy x
Hi Debs, You back in the land of two boobs!!! Great isnt it! Yes I too have back ache, not all the time just when I’m stood up for too long. Take it easy now girl you need to. Cant say I would ever go through it all again. The mastectomy was definately easier. You’ll have to ask me in a few months if it’s all been worth it. Havent been able to sit properly for two weeks as I have lovely pressure sores/skin on my bottom! That has not helped but it’s getting better.
Good luck to you Debs and Twinmummy. xxx Vanessa
Good to see you back. I was up at hospital few days after you got home and nurses said all had gone well. Now comes the hard bit - doing nothing until your body heals! My back really ached if i walked for more than 15mins. Rest a lot and do the exercises on the DVD as you can.
twinmummy and Mummyv I am sure you will find it is all worth it. just take it easy and don’t do too much. healing takes time.
best wishes all of you!

Sofadoc, I have just completed week five and still getting the back ache you mention. Can’t seem to get appointment with physio - wondered what is the DVD you mention?
Take care all of you. Maggie
Hi, this is my first time on. Nice to hear good reports about Glasgow Cannisburn, I going in on 5th Nov for my “boob job” and “tummy tuck”. Any good tips that will get me through this, also not sure what to wear after op? I am going to ask next week at pre op but if you have any tips I would be grateful.
