I am suffering from high calcium levels (HCL) and wondered if anybody else has had problems with these? This has been a problem over about 6 weeks now, and I must admit my hospital have been keeping a close eye on me cos hypercalceamia can make you very poorly, and if left untreated it could prove fatal! I have had to go into hospital to have saline intraveanously and had to drink loads of water every day (5 litres). Obviously the zometa helps to bring the levels down but the HCLs started to climb again. I know it could be the bone mets but I have only had one other person on this site report that they have had high HCLs. Is it that rare??
