Hi All I am due to start radio theripy in a few weeks time I have been asked to go on High Import trial is anyone on this? would be helpful to have some feedback as finding it hard to make a decide what to do. Linda

Yes, I have just done Rads on Import High trial. I did some research so to understand what it was all about and decided to go for it. I was selected for the Trial 2 category, so recieved a bit more rads than would have done otherwise. All the rads were completed in 15 sessions, that’s including the boosts I needed, and my skin has held up really well but, have to say, probably have ‘good’ skin anyway!!!

Hi ChocDrop Thank you for your reply I have tried to message you and send replys but has not worked not sure if its me or the site. I would really like to know more about the treatment if you get this post. Hi Looby, i did the Import High trial too, i finished it in february this year. like Chocdrop i was on Trial 2. My skin didn’t break at all , just got a bit red. I like the fact that they follow u up for 10 years. I had no problem with the rads at all.

Hope you are getting on ok, and all you other ladies, of course.

Just to mention, they ‘draw’ on you each time you go for Planning, dummy run and the treatments - so I suggest you don’t wear your new, pretty white bra!!! I always wear black bras, so it wasn’t a problem. The marks do come off in the shower, but then they draw on you again the next time!!!

Ladies,

I did Import High last July - I was randomized to the ‘Control’ group so went every day for 4 1/2 weeks.

I was wondering if any of you still had all your paperwork etc? If so, would I be correct in thinking that we have photos done at the 12 month point?

I can ask my trials nurse next time I’m getting my Herception but as I found your posts, I thought I’d ask.

Hi Chris, i think i have my next photos 3 years afterwards. i had them taken when i started, i know it definately wasn’t 12 months on mine. I’ll have a look & see if i can find the paperwork. x

Many thanks - that’s probably why I haven’t had an appointment come through.

I’ll seek out one of my trials nurses next week
