Has this happened to anyone else. 3years ago my tumor was reported as ER + on a scale of 8/8 and 8/14 lymph nodes affected. Having taken tamoxifen for 2.5years and struggled with dreadful side effects from dsy one I receive a call from cons onc to say I am not ER+ never was I am ER - and should nevet had tamoxifen . Transcription error picked up in a random review.

Similar situation happened to me I was
HER2 negative on my pathology report but the Oncologist read it as Positive so I was given 11 IV’s of Herceptin before it was noticed! I had severe SE that effected my quality of life, I needed counselling after it as I felt that I had been let down badly by my team, it did help to talk to someone, I am sorry this has happened to you too xx
Thanks chico I waa her2+ and given herceptin. I to had side effect s but oncologust has checked my results and apparently they were tested at a different hospital and correct
What side effects did herceptin give you. I had huge mouth ulcers. I wsd advised my consultant yo take legal advice.
