I am nearly 4 years clear and finished the Tamoxifen and Zoladex . My Lump was small with no invasion to Lymph etc I am 39 and the lump was 9/10 for oestrogen and 7/10 for progesterone . I had a blood test a few weeks ago and my hormone levels are normal for my age etc . So I am guessing that I am at risk of another lump . I have a few questions

  1. I have been refered to a Gynea what would my options be ?
  2. Can I not just keep taking tamoxifen ?

I Have children and do not want any more , but I am not sure about ovaries being taken away etc.

I suppose your only option if you wanted to get rid of your hormones would be to have your ovaries removed. You could then also go on to Aromatase Inhibitors. However if your prognosos is good it is unlikely that your oncologist would recommend this as a follow on treatment, this would be something you would have to choose to have done.
