Hospitals ignoring NICE guidelines on HER2 testing

Hi Deborah,

Sorry to hear that you have been having it rough lately. Well done on getting the ball rolling and involving your MP. But why do you have to do something to time consuming to get the same rights as I have re HER2 testing? It makes me really angry because I do not expect you want better treatment than me, you just want what you are entitled to just like me.

I have early breast cancer and am HER2 + .I started on Herceptin yesterday,and I feel lucky as I live in Knowsley,Liverpool, which is the highest NHS trust for cancer patients, however I also feel humble for those who can’t get the treatment needed and it is totally unfair that post code lottery treatment exists.I would join any one and any campaign to fight against it
