hot flushes

Hi
I was wondering of anyone has been suffering from hot flushes due their chemo?
I am on carboplatin and seem to get real bad hot sweats in the evening and thru the night. I was wondering if the chemo had brought out the early menopause or if it is a side effect to the chemo?
I dont get flushed in the face just body sweats. - even in these temperatures at night I can lie naked under a ceiling fan on full blast and still be hot.

Hi Lisa

When I was having chemo I used to get flushes from the steriods but these used to pass a couple of days after I finished the steriods. My hot flushes didnt really kick in until I started Tam and then Zoladex, I take Star Flower Oil and have to admit thought I still get them its not as bad as it was in the begining - July/Sept.
