Hot Nipple (reposting)

Hi Everyone

I’m learning reflexology and had a treatment on Thursday. About 3 hours afterwards my right nipple suddenly felt really hot/burning and I could barely touch it. This only lasted about 20mins, although there is still a funny sensitivity in my breast.

My history is that about 18 months ago I had eczema on my areola, had mammogram (showed 2 white patches)and ultrasound. Was told that I had 2 benign lumps (not biopsied?)

A couple of other reflexology treatments had brought the eczema back, but only in the right breast and reflexology can bring on pre existing conditions so wasn’t too bothered.

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this symptom and if I should get it checked. It’s only in the right breast as is the eczema and benign lumps.

I am not being much of a help here, but i must say that i am waiting for a mammo and u/s at the moment with regards to what was a rash on my areola- which has went away, but the skin is now misshapen on that area, and i must say that i am really worried.

Again i am really sorry for not being a help, but i find it hard to find someone on this site who has had problems with the nipple/areola area, everyone has the symptom of a lump. I wonder if anyone else has/had nipple areola symptoms?

Please get it checked. I was embarrassed getting checked, but i know that it isnt right to have a rash on just one nipple or areola area. My gp referred me to the breast clinic, and now i am waiting for the above.
