How can u be sure results are right?! Hi,
this site got me through my ordeal back in March when I found a lump and was waiting for the biopsy result.
The news was good, aparently just a fibroid. 6 happy weeks on I know feel like I have pain in the area of the lump. Funnily enough, when I think about it! Maybe this is my paranoi. has anyone felt that they need another biopsy. they did it with an ultra sound, so I’m sure they got the lump, but are these tests 100% sure, and anyway, does breat cancer ‘hurt’ or is my mind playing tricks.
I hope everyone who got me through my hard time is well and keeping strong! My thoughts are often with everyone…

When i first got diagonosed with BC i didnt have any pain, I dont think many people do. I think its just the fibroid but obviously your worried. I think with a scan there able to distingquish between a cancerous lump and non cancerous, maybe you can speak to the consultant who gave you the good news just to go over it with you to put your mind at rest.
And its only natural to worry and its a good thing that your breast aware unlike i was!!!

If it is any reassurance, many people feel like you do after ‘good news’. You have been through a very frightening experience which takes time to come to terms with. If you are still worried it is a good idea to go to your GP to talk these feelings over. Your GP will also be able to set your mind at rest about whether you need any further investigations.
