Aww thank you for your reply! Im so happy to hear she is cancer free. Which type did she have? If you dont mind me asking. Mine is Her2 positive. I am sore from my double mastectomy still i opted for no recon up to now. Yes the side from node clearance is my most painful side which is to be expected but so far so good. I did have an mri after my 5th round of chemo and no signs of disease were seen so it got melted away so expecting clear margins on results day my surgeon says. I will find out on the 8th of jan. What a journey it really is… i would not wish it on anyone. Yes the surgery is defo better than chemo side effects. They are still giving me radiotherapy for mine but im happy to go ahead with it. I hope you and your daughter have a happy new year! 2025 lets hope its a kind one

Hi again @jeml. My daughter had grade 3 triple negative, particularly aggressive form. Thankfully it was picked up relatively early. Tumour was 2.5cm. She is still waiting for a full breakdown of her pathology although at the moment we are happy in the knowledge it was free of the dreaded C word.
