how long will it take

hi girls i have been trawling through the forums to see if anyone else has had chronic inflamation no matches so far the nearest i have got in duct ectasia i have the sunken nipple and lump had 2 cores both came ok so the diagnosis is chronic inflamation have 2 go back 4th nov for ultrasound but i think they expect it to be gone by then however this has been going on for 6 months now anyone know how long inflamation lasts i didnt get any antibiotics or any thing thanks bablicious

sorry havent got answer but just wanted to say hi sorry they didnt sort it out for you i`m going to see the doctor tonight to ask for my thing to be removed. how are you hope this finds you well. take care.

i am so fed up i got the impression that this would sort itself out but it hasnt and i am starting to worry again surely there would be some improvement by now anyway how are you i am glad you are getting somwhere i wish they would just remve this and be done with it hope all goes well tonight bablicious

Hi bablicious,

Have just got back and have told them i want it taken out and he has said that its ok they will do it just so glad as was so unhappy about just leaving it there. have you got a number for the breast nurse as they may be able to let you know what should be happening with itor you could go back to your doctor and they may be able to get you seen sooner then november. Take care let me know how its going.

hi tracy that is good news for you how long do you have to wait for removal hope not to long i think i might phone breast care nurse tommorow just to see what should be happening i have a feeling they will wait till nov then make me try antibiotics that could take weeks it is just going on for ever sorry for going on talk to you soon bablicious

You are not going on its very hard to deal with when you have been told nothing. you are dealing with it all very well. i may have to wait for three months but could be done before as he said its not that urgent. please call the nurse they may be able to tell you what is going on. take care.
