How many hours for chemo?

I’m due to start chemo (fec-t) on July 4. My pre appointment isn’t until the 3rd so I’ve no idea what to expect yet. My question is, how many hours does it take?

Allow about 3 hours and if you cold cap add another 90 mins. Don’t worry you will be fine - it is not nearly as bad as your fears are xxx

Hi

The nurse will go through everything with you at the pre appointment. Blueash is right, it does take about 3 hours, and they go very slowly for the first time, to see how you cope with it. If you cold cap, it will take longer. Good idea to take someone with you xx
