How Reiki has helped Caroline
How Reiki has helped Caroline Louise has posted an item under Secondary breast cancer about her sister Caroline who has lung, liver and spleen mets. She has allowed me to quote her under this section, as follows:
“My sister is doing great through all of this, her positve attitude leaves me in awe, I am so proud of her. She has suffered numb fingers and toes from the chemo and obviously has lost her hair, but other than that seems to cope OK. Her diet is the healthiest ever, which I’m sure you all follow too, she takes various supplements which a nutritionist has advised and we also went and did Reiki 1, so we know how to send healing energy to her. She also goes for Reiki treatments. I recommend this to any of you who is feeling stressed and overwhelmed through this difficult time.”
I’m so pleased to hear someone has found such benefit from Reiki.
I have to say though, she’s made me feel so guilty about my current diet. I PROMISE TO TRY HARDER TO AVOID ICECREAM AND CHEESE AND BUTTER AND ALL THE THINGS I LOVE!! Must get back to dairyfree and Chinese Wan Bao mushroom tea. But post Christmas I think.
What supplements do others take?

Reiki Hi There
I receive reiki one a week at a local Haven Centre and find it really relaxing and soothing as well as healing.
I used to be quite an angry sort of person and now I have mellowed so much and been a lot more accepting of my condition and I believe that its thanks to the reiki.
I feel that people should try Reiki before pre-judging it, honestly its wonderful.
much love

Liz I was diagnosed with BC last Feb and had mastectomy and reconstruction (LD) in May last year. I am a qualified Reiki I and II therapist (though I only treat family and friends). I believe that Reiki has given me the strength to ‘get through’ my op and after treatment, (chemotherapy and radiotherapy and now tamoxifien) . It has given me an inner peace and positive attitiude. I would say to anybody, give it a try, it leads to such peaceful balance of mind and body.
Hi Janette So pleased I have a Reiki buddy on site. It is marvellous isn’t it? I’ve kept so calm throughout and have had regular sessions from Reiki colleagues. My bc journey started last April and in May I found this site. I asked if anyone would like me to send them distant Reiki every day as it had helped me so much, and had over seventy replies. Every now and then someone contacts me to report on how they’re doing. Whatever level it’s working on, physical, mental, emotional or spiritual, I’m sure it must be helping. Once we get the contact buttons back, I’ll put out the offer again so I can get in touch with people privately.
Love and light

reiki I to have been having reiki since i was dx with breast cancer.
It helped with healing my scar and has helped with my chemo.
My reiki master has my photo and when she has meetings they send their healing , she has also offered it over the phone if i so wish.
I was totally energised on her last session, i was on a high, you would not have known that i had chemo.
I also have accupuncture, this is feeding my liver and doing other important jobs. brain gone (obviously not feeding that )
