How long a gap have people had between ending chemo and Mastectomy taking place?

It was four weeks for me…
My final docetaxol was 29 Oct 2008
and the op was 25 Nov 2008
That was based on good blood results - if there had been a problem it would have been slightly longer…

Just over 4 weeks for me too - last chemo 7th Dec 07, surgery 9th Jan 08 but would have been the week before had Xmas & New Year not been in the way !

I had a 5 week gap between the end of chemo and surgery.

I finished chemo 20th September and had my mastectomy 8th October so it seems as if 4 weeks is about normal. I live in Southampton. I was in less than 24 hours. went home with drains in. I was also surprised that the only pain I had was my “normal” arthritis none at all from the op. Good Luck. Marion xx
Hi Lea, ness here, how you doing? I had my mx 4 weeks from chemo ending, asked my BCN what the usual time scale is and she said between 4 & 6 weeks normally.
I have emailed you a couple of weeks ago, dont know if you received it or not.
