girls - I’ve been getting on with getting better however quick recap is that dx in September 2009, surgery, chemo, rads, herceptin which finished May 2010 and now I am on tamoxifen. The issue I have and I’m not sure if this is daft but my left side where I had a lumpectomy is smaller than the other side (well of course it would be!!) neither my surgeon or my onc has said anything about either getting either one “sorted”. I would be tempted to get the right one reduced but not sure about risks of a new primary if you “mess about with it”
Does anyone have any experience ? I’m getting worried that they are not mentioning it cause I’m a high risk or something of it coming back - I’m a private patient if that makes a difference. It just seems that loads of you have already had some discussion on nipple recons or other surgery to even you up and no one has mentioned it to me !
