cancer all the same,come from stockport married with 1 22yr daughter

Eileen I have made about twenty really fantastic friends on facebook, Karen, mazaroo, Linda, Lauren, lynn, mel, debbi, alison to name a few. Its such a fantastic site and a great way to make lovely friends from this site. Its so nice putting a face to a name and becoming proper friends. I have formed some really real strong friendships on there. Hope you find it fun too.

OH sorry Walton I meant let me in facebook. You see when I first came on this site in 2006 there used to be profiles and if you wanted you could out a picture on if you liked. It was more personal somehow although I can understand some didn’t post a profile. I have just finished herceptin in July having been mutilated poisoned then scorched. I had a 4.5 cm lump 4 nodes vascular invasion and dcis so am convinced won’t be around long. I like a good laugh though and humour has got me through although feel pessimistic about future. I thought that it would be good to see some other women on somewhere like facebook as we concentrate here on bc. There is more about me than just this… Thanks Jules and yourself for replying love Eileen

I’m on facebook and in a couple of fb groups - if you want to be my friend PM me your fb id and I will add you. I agree it is so much easier to get to know each other on fb and the emphasis is not on BC so you can get a laugh.

sorry to butt in, but in case you don’t know what PM means, it’s short for Private Message, which only you and the other person can see when you are logged in on here, so it’s safe to exchange emails. You just ned to note the other persons forum user name, and type it in the bar.

Hi Eileen,

So sorry to hear about the way you are feeling.

I am on the same FB as Lilacblushes, all with BC are very welcome and as well as sharing our worries you will find a whole lot of ‘humour’ going on there. There is also a related group, which you don’t necessarily have to have BC to join. The girls on there are more than willing to share all with those that like to participate in the cancer world, but don’t actually have it themselves.

I do hope you will join us and we can be of help to you.

Hi, i went on to face book and joined the breast buddies - dont know what i have done wrong but went onto the forum/chat thing and there was only one thread on there with about 3 posts! i started a new one just saying hello and with this website as the subject. So were is everyone from here - where can i find them?
