Help, I had discovered a lump over a year ago right in between my breasts at the top of my sternum (where my cleavage starts). This lump had a white look to it but it never really grew. No one seemed concerned with it, just pushed it off as a fatty tumor or something to that nature. Just within the last few days, this tiny lump has grown into a mass about a 1/2 to 1 inch in diameter. It tripled in size. I am very worried about this because my mother had breast cancer when she was 40 and I just turned 29. I work for an Endocrinologist and he states that he thinks it just my lymph nodes but that he is concerned with how it grew so rapidly and out of no where. I have an appointment with my family doctor on monday, but this waiting is killing me. Does anyone know what this could be?
