I had a phone call this morning from the hospital, they offered me a cancellation for this Friday. They also asked me to go in right away and have swabs done for MRSA, I have been and had that done. I have managed to push this to the back of my mind, but now it has returned with a vengeance Those dammed demon’s whispering in my head !!!
I will be in at 7.30 and have pre tests then op in the afternoon sometime, Can I ask… Will I need a sports bra (CM) said I should, but as the “lump” is near my cleavage, I thought any bra may be uncomfortable ? Any advise would be appreciated.
I bought a couple of soft bras from Asda and I am still wearing mine too. So comfy. Make sure you buy one slightly larger than your normal size to allow for any swelling.
Thanks for that peeps, off to asda for me then. Has anyone seen them AH bras that are advertised on shopping channels? They look good, but do they support like they say ? Anyone tried them ?
Good luck for Friday, I hope it goes well for you - those gremlins are hard to keep at bay at times.
Friday will be a long day, you may want to try some pre-hab - I found that drinking plenty of water in the days running upto surgery helped so that I was as hydrated as possible for surgery day (as no water from 6am) and by the time I came round fully it was early evening, then I was back into drinking water mode to get hydrated again and start flushing out the anaesthetic.
I have quite small boobs so didn’t get a post-surgery bra, I used a comfy bikini top post-surgery as I had a mx.
