This weekend I have just celebrated a significant birthday…
I never thought I would be so happy to see 40.

I was dx on my 33 birthday with bc and it was also my husbands 40th the same weekend.
At the time I was, as you have all been through very scared and thought I would never see my 40th!

I was re dx with secondaries over 3 years ago now and have had different hormone treatments and chemo.

I am presently on Capecitabine and on Fri I was told that the tumors have stopped growing.

It really has been a fantastic weekend and I’m now going to disappear under a pile of washing (once I’ve taken the bike out as the sun is out today).

Really enjoyed it even though I could feel my back yesterday??!!

Say happy birthday to R for me.

Obviously you and I have nothing better to do although I am out for lunch today (no, not BBs!)

Fantastic news and hope you had a good day. It’s so scary when you’re 1st dx with 2ndaries isn’t it, and you don’t expect to see any other birthdays at all so it’s great you got to celebrate a big one! May there be many more.
