i really hoped I wouldn't be back here again...

About a year ago I found a lump in my right breast which thankfully turned out to be a benign cyst. I was very relieved, they removed the cyst and I went back to normal, with monthly self-checks and an even greater love and respect for the NHS.

Recently my left breast started to feel a little bit odd. Heavier, different texture, and just…weird. Then my husband noticed that it had gotten bigger. It’s now a cup size bigger than my left one. I’m know I’m not pregnant, but it feels like it did when I was breast feeding. It’s not comfortable, but it’s not sore either.

So tomorrow I go to my GP again. I’ve put it off, but I have to go.

I know that IBC is rare. I know it’s probably nothing. But with a lump you can say to yourself ‘oh it will be a cyst or something’, but with this…I’m coming up blank. I don’t want to google, because we all know where that leads. So I am venting here where it is safe!
