I think my periods have stopped ...but

I’ve been on Tamoxifen 1 year next month. I’m 54.

My periods have been getting lighter over the last couple of months and this month I haven’t seen a show at all…but…I am still experiencing the feeling like I’m going to have a period…you know…like the heaviness in the pit of your tummy, bloated tummy and the general feeling of coming on…

I know for sure I’m not pregnant :slight_smile:

Is this normal ? Do you still experience period pains even if you don’t have a period ? Will the feelings stop; eventually ?

I would appreciate other ladies advice on this.

I feel like you at the min!!

I am 47 and have been on tamoxifen for about 10 weeks. Keep having a show then nothing!!!

This heavy dragging feeling is driving me mad!!!

Hi been on Tamoxifen since last october 2007 not had a period since …no shows no pain no nothing is this normal Im 52?

Hi all

I e-mailed BC nurse today girls and she said she thinks I will eventually start my period!!!

I am so confused! why do some people stop having periods whilst taking Tamoxifen and some carry on. Mine dont know what to do!!!

I have been on Tamoxifin since August and have not had a period since November although I had a discharge in December but nothing since then. I did have a really bad period like pain a few weeks ago. Im 41
