We were doing christmas on a small scale, and the mother in laws tree didnt work after bringing it down from the loft. was so gutted and ready to get on ebay for another one, but found a new bulb and was so happy. i reckon someone was looking down on me and i so needed a lift today.
sometimes its the little things that get us through.
i’ve had a low week and about time, i shared something upbeat.

The little things make us smile the most. Indeed life is good ( well most of the time!)
I’m having dilemma as to when to put the decorations up. Glad your tree is working. Might have to send the OH up to the loft this weekend. Jingle bells! xxxx
I have finished mine, just some tinsel along fireplace and over picture frames, keeping it small but will still enjoy having the twinkly lights on later, while watching strictly.
and am even thinking of next year when this will be behind us and I can be my organised self and go for new tree, shopping, nights out etc. was just asked about our posh hotel do and i know i just dont want to do the dressed up bit, wouldnt feel confident. but i feel okay about the decision if it was a casual pub do I would have gone.
