Havn’t been here for a while.Was diagnosed March 2009 with IBC to left breast, 2 nodes involved and possible low volume met to liver. Had chemo, mastectomy, rads, then LD recon, lipo fill, reduction and uplift to right breast and was just getting back to normal (whatever normal is)whilst on herceptin indefinately. Unfortunately have just had results from a routine CT scan/EUS biopsy and have a small tumor on the head of my pancreas,I was expecting it, but it is quite rare apparently. I’ve been told no treatment except to carry on herceptin as it might shrink or stabilise. I’ve had no symtoms and am feeling fitter than before diagnosis. Has anyone else experienced this and any advice please. I actually feel happier now I know and intend to work on getting it sorted! xxx
