Hallo ladies,
I had a full mx three days ago after an unsuccessful wle on the left breast. I had large breasts 44D, and the BC nurse gave me a temporary softie to insert into the left cup.
I’ve pinned it into the cup, however when I put my bra on the left side keeps moving northwards to my shoulder!
Has anyone got any ideas of something I could use to help weigh it down and keep it more in place.
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
I used to pin the bottom of mine down, maybe using 2 pins. I rememeber they recommended putting a pound coin in it to weigh it down.
Good luck!

Hi
The softie comes in a little cloth ‘envelope’. A friend helped me copy it to make a couple more which I stitched into a bra and then put the softie into that. It holds it in place quite well and I have no more worries about it disappearing northward.
Good luck

I bought some weighted thread from a curtain shop which I sewed into the bottom of my softies. It gives them a bit of weight and stops them riding up.
The thread is made of tiny little covered weights in a strip which you would usually put on the bottom of curtains so that they hang properly. Costs next to nothing - about 50p a metre and it really makes a difference.
