imagination working overtime

Hi all, I am so pleased I found this forum it has helped me over last few days. For past 2 months have had eczema and discharge not clearing with even potent steroidal cream, any way have breast clinic appointment on wednesday. Thing is up until today i had convinced myself that they would tell me which cream to use and i would be on my way. Dont think this would do much for the lump under my nipple or the burning under my arm. Having a really bad night i know something is sadly wrong i can feel it.I know that its not worth worrying about until i get a diagnosis.Hubby says i am a drama queen maybe i am don’t know how to cope.

Hi Oliecy and welcome to the forums.

I am sure that you will receive lots of support and information from your fellow forum members. You may also find our publication helpful to read, it’s called ‘Referral to a breast clinic’, this can be read via the following link:

breastcancercare.org.uk/docs/referral_07_0.pdf

Please feel free to call our helpline on 0808 800 6000 and speak to one of our specialist nurses, it often helps to talk your concerns over with someone in confidence. The line is open Mon-Fri 9am-5pm and Sat 9am-2pm.

Best wishes
Lucy

Hi Oliecy

You are not being a drama queen you are concerned about something that is very scarey. Its a hard thing to cope with but at least you only have 2 days to wait now. Write down any questions you need answered or take someone with you if you can.

Let us know how you get on good luck

Hi
Hope everything goes well for you on Wednesday. Anybody would be worried, so you are not being a drama queen, just having a normal reaction. Since I was diagnosed, I have become an even bigger drama queen than I already was. Hopefully it will be nothing and at least you have not got too long to wait now.
Good Luck
Dawne
