Despite only having 5% LD,I have to say I am very impressed with the treatment. When the physio finished my MLD this morning she taped my hand. Kinesio taping. I didn’t think i would get that as my LD is mild.
Does anyone know exactly what it does. It is fairly new isnt it?
ive never heard of it but googled and it looks very interesting.
From what I know and have had it used a couple of times, it lifts the skin slightly and enables the Lymph fluid to circulate better as it creates a larger space for it to circulate, as the lymph system is so close to the surface of the skin. I found it very good and had it placed across my back which helped the swelling from around my body where the side of my bra goes (if that makes sense.)Unfortunately I was sensitive to the actual tape and can’t use it. I really do think it works.

Yes I’ve had it a few times and does seem to help a bit. For those who have had sensitivity issues, I believe there are different types/brands so you might want to try a different one.
