Poor you - that sounds really miserable and worrying. Can they give you anything to help you to sleep? Hope you manage to get some rest and begin to feel better soon.
I’m up in a lot of pain with an infected seroma following a WLE and SNB 2 weeks ago. Have taken loads of painkillers but its still throbbing, can’t get comfy and I can’t sleep even though I am exhausted too!
Boo hoo - miserable - poor us!
Mutual misery sighs and a gentle hug

Oh SGL, that’s miserable.
But however horrid, it is better to be there and checked out and get this sorted now.
Hopefully you will free to go home very soon.
Gentle hug
Hi SGL sorry to hear you have been admitted. I to have missed your posts. Take care and hopefully you will soon be home, sending hugs your way xx
Hi SGL,
All the best for a speedy recovery from that nasty!
Rest up whilst you can. x
Hi Jacqui too,
sounds like you have now got what I had post WLE and SLN 9 days - 10 days after for me.
Mine reabsorbed after a couple of days and the ‘heat’ went out of it, but I was back on the painkillers for a couple of nights too. If it makes you feel any better, my week three has been fab! Here’s hoping you’re through it soon!
x
Awww SGL so sorry that you feeling terrible. I hope you get sorted soon and can go home x
Jacqui - Sorry to hear you have been in a lot of pain and cant sleep, hope it improves soon for you x
Hi SGL,
Hope you are feeling better soon and are able to go home. It’s awful that you are not well, you were very kind to me so wishing you a speedy recovery, take care and special hugs x x
Hi SGL
get well soon. Hugs. M
Hi SGL, hope you feel better soon, you too Jacqui, gentle hugs, Simone xxx.
Thanks everyone for your good wishes - you are such sweeties!
Spent a couple of hours at the hospital this morning having the seroma drained for the 3rd time. Was also prescribed some antibiotics as I have now developed a nasty infection - no wonder I felt so rough!
Really hope that you are feeling somewhat better now SGL and that you are receiving lots of TLC.

*******Sorry double post on my mobile in hospital.******
Home now thank goodness. Do you know A and E tried to make me wait in the main waiting area even though the doctor had faxed through to say I was coming and was on chemo and needed to be seen quickly and away fron everyone else!! There answer was to leave me running a temp in the car for 25 mins until Hubby made a scene. I was in tears but after that I got taken to a room and was admitted after various tests. My neutrophils were lower at 2 but they have to be under one so I believe to be dangerous.
Because I was running a temp and dehydrated (no wonder being left in a hot car) I was admitted for fluids and observations. They think it was probably the chemo that made me have a fever as today I had normal temp so I am guessing the drips flushed toxins through?? Still feel fluey and have horrendous ulcers in mouth but glad to be home.
They admitted this lady for two hours this morning in bed opposite me with sickness and diarhear bug!! They sent her home after two hours after sticking her in a bed with other sick people! The Marsden put anyone with a suspected sickness etc drug in a room on their own to stop it spreading. No wonder my local hospital always has norovirus etc!!
Thanks for all your good wishes, and gentle hugs to you too Jacqui xxxxxx
Poor you ladies.
SGL - Sounds like you are better off at home rather than in hospital!
Jacqui - hope you are feeling better.
I had a bit of a scare yesterday evening with visions of calling the hospital. Was feeling fluey, bit of a sore throat, flushed and hot.
Got the leaflet out, checked the number, told OH, took my temperature -
NORMAL - Phew!
So took Ibuprofen,Paracetamol and a Zopiclone.
Did feel better this morning - yes, I did wake up!
Hope you both feel better quickly.
ahem lol The hospital gave my ibroprofen and paracetamol, but hubby sneaked up later with a Zopliclone from home! Naughty I know but the dramas involved getting even a paracetamol in an NHS hospital was bad enough! I still feel fluey but, no temp now thank goodness.
Hope you keep feeling better now Slenda.
xx
