I have been referred for a mammogram yesterday as I have an indentation on my breast between the nipple and bottom of the breast. I finished breasting feeding in August so assumed the change was a result that. All the information I can find refers to lumps. Does anyone else have any information or experience of this?
All breast changes should be checked, be it lumps, inflamation, dimpling etc. They are not necessarily cancer though. You are doing the right thing getting it checked out.
Good luck with it, let us know how you get on

I didnt have a lump, I had what I can only describe as a stretchmark that looked bigger than a stretchmark!! (if that makes sense) but as there was history of bc in my family, I got it checked out. And good job I did as it wasnt good news, but at least it could be sorted out quickly and I had a lumpectomy, rather than the removal of the whole of the breast like my mum did.
I am forever telling my friends etc anything that looks different to you, get it checked out.
Take care
Anne
I just had an indentation at the side of my breast couldn’t feel a lump but got it checked out. It was BC. Had a lumpectomy but becuse I didnt have clear margins went on to have a mastectomy and immediate reconstruction. I won’t bore you with the details but am glad I did something so quickly. I know its a difficult time for you and nothing anyone says will make it easier but you have done the right thing and are getting it sorted out.
It is 2 years since I completed my treatment and have never felt better.
Good luck
Kitty
