I noticed on a thread ealier that a few ladies on here seem to be having problems with there insurance claims. Totally disgraceful at a time like this. We are trying to sort out an endowment mortgage short fall and somebody recommened The Financial Ombudsman Service. Your more than welcome, it’s not fair that you ladies should have to go through this and fight for what IS rightly yours, insurance companies make my blood boil!!
scottish provident have refused my claim due to dicrepancies - questions i answered when i took the policy out but they have now said i never gave enough info. i told them my mum died of bc but they still took my money and agreed to insure me but now they are queering about my mum. it is now in the hands of the ombusman. i would never have known about them dealing with insurance companies if it had not been for this site. also scottish provident gave me no chance to appeal against their decision. this is added stress that i don’t need. insurance companies should not get away with this.
