Hi everyone, I just saw this thread and thought I should comment. Last week I noticed that when I squeeze my right nipple a little clear to yellow sticky fluid comes out of one duct. I have no other symptoms that I can see but thought it best to get checked out so I’m seeing my GP tomorrow. I’m 26 with no BC family history. From what I’ve heard I think it could be a papilloma. Anybody else have the same symptoms?
Hi
4yrs ago I had a Intraductal papilloma with dodgy cells removed all went well didn’t suffer to much pain & the scar is amazing!
Well I now have another one but this one is begin but my surgen is doing a total duct excision & for some reason I feel very freaked out this time - I think last time I was in so much shock and it was all over so quickly I didn’t have time to panic
any advice you can give me will help!
Hi Avid - sorry you haven’t had a reply this is a rather old thread so the ladies concerned may not still be on the forum - you could ask this question in the Ask the Nurses section ? forum.breastcancercare.org.uk/t5/Ask-Our-Nurses/ct-p/Asknurses/interaction-style/forum
Hi
I am in mid diagnosis and this is what the Dr thinks mine is.
It started off with really painful nipple and swollen. To it looking angry and then it ruptured. The Dr originally said he didn’t see any difference and no infection. That didn’t sound right to me since i was on antibiotics from my obgyn. It took a few days to come to the surface and also to get a little relief from the meds. But i felt poopooed from the Dr until last night. I took my shirt off and i had put a piece of a pantyliner in my bra and it looked like it stuck a little to my nipple. Well when i stared to remove my shirt it ruptured and green goo shot out with crazy pain then other fun colors then bleed. I called the emergency number at my Dr’s and he called me back. So today he got me in the office right away with goo in a zippy bag. He is now taking me seriously and i an going for mamo, us and mri. My mom passed from BC of left boob and i have had 3 lumps and i gland removed from my left and now this.
I have second Dr that’s female for this Friday, because i felt that a man might not understand breastfeeding pain to this pain since he never felt it. I’m glad he is now on the same page as i am on omg it hurts and now look.
If i need to have something more invasive i hope that is not the case but I’m thankful that i found your post.
Its so important to be open and share with other woman when it comes to our bodies and what they do. My mom and my Gram never talked about some of the things i have been going through since I’m in my 50’s. My mom passed at 54 and I’m now 58. So to find this is really helpful.
Thank you again.
