Is another check-up necessary?

Hi there,

I was 17 when I first had to go to a clinic to have my breasts checked. I am now 18 and wondering if I need another check-up.

When I went in I was mostly complaining about my left breast - it had more painful lumps and I found it very hard to do simple movements. I also throught I only had one lump but it turns out I had quite a few surronding the breast. However, when I went to my GP to be referred, I did also say I have one lump on my right breast and this was recorded but at the breast clinic they did not check my right breast.

After using an ultrasound on my breast, it turns out it was muscle tissue and that I just need to manage the pain (which is another thing I struggle with), but both breasts are getting worse and I was wondering if I should go and see my GP again - as last time, my GP said that because I’m young I’m more likely to get referred for prevention but is this needed this time?

Help! Thanks!

if you are still in pain and its getting I would go and see the GP and get it checked out. It may be they can give you some pain relief to help.

I think your problem is serious. You must go for a second checkup. It seems your symtomps are of breast cancer. I hope your case is not a breast cancer,. but don’t take any risk and go consult a good Cancer doctor as soon as possible.
