I’m fighting a cold and temperature at the mom, hopefully i will feel much better in the morning as I’m really looking forward to meeting you all. Haven’t been out of the house in two weeks except for blood test, so have cabin fever. Rachel/Diane/Horace should I email you in the morning to confirm?
Hope everyone is OK today.
Noanie
Sorry you can’t make it Shar, was looking forward to meeting you too…hopefully next time.
Can’t believe you are almost done with rads…how is it going? do you have any skin problems?
I start my rads end of September, unless I decide to have the Ax clearance, then it will be the end of October…decisions, decisions.
Hi
Noanie - hope you feel well enough to come out to play - you must be going stir crazy.
Val - great that you can make it after all.
Rachel - looking forward to seeing the hat and hearing all your news. At one point it was a possibility that I would have a double mx, in which case I don’t think I would have gone for recon either. In the end I had left mx and immediate recon - it was the idea of being lopsided I didn’t like.
Haven’t heard definitely if Rhian will or won’t be there.
I won’t be on line in the morning - my rads are at 8.45am and so I’ll go into Shrews straight after.
Hope everyone else is OK
Dx
Thanks for a lovely lunch it was great to meet old friends and to make new ones
Yes ! me! High all ladies hailing from Shropshire, I am from Bridgnorth. Just coming to the end of rad. after 7 months of chemo, did not realise how bad chemo was till I waS through it, to busy pretending none of this was happening to me! Its all a big mistake, its only just sinking in, how daft is that !? Grade 3, not spread, I hope we"re nailing the xxxtard!!! Stay strong, have we a choice? x fab bloggs.
Lovely lunch with lovely ladies once again. Can’t wait for next time. Thanks Diane for organising it x
It was so nice to finally meet you all and I look forward to the next one.
Diane thank you for arranging everything, next time we meet remind me I have a couple of hats to give you (like the one you were wearing today). They were given to me by a friend but I don’t look so good in hats so maybe you can use them.
Hi all
First of all, welcome to Fed Bloggs (great name!). Haven’t seen you elsewhere on the forums - are you new to them? If so, an even wider welcome.
Great to meet everyone today - thanks for your thanks, but organising wasn’t a hassle at all - and even if it had been a major effort it would have been worth it!
Already looking forward to the next one - Daffodil, we’ll hold you to organising it even if your arm was twisted a bit.
Harp - happy to go riding ‘commando’ with you if it will give you the incentive to get back on a horse - maybe fit it in before your op?
Noanie - thanks for the offer of the hats - scarves make me look like a peasant and I find my wig quite hot - tho the slow rate at which my hair is growing, I may be glad of it soon.
Val - we didn’t get a chance to chat a lot - we’ll have that coffee in Whitchurch soon - maybe Shar will be able to join us.
Hugs to everyone else too…
Diane x
Great to meet a couple of new (to me) faces, Diane youre hilarious and Noanie our sophisticated New Yorker via rural Shropshire!! The next meet I am going to suggest Friday 16th or Monday 19th Sept 12-30 Armoury if that works for anyone. Post your preference if you can as soon as, mine would be the Monday. Fed you are of course more than welcome too and would be lovely if all the usuals could make it too, should be easier with kids back at school. Rachelx
Hi Rachel 1 (or are you Rachel 2?)
Either is fine by me so go with majority. Great to see you again. Didn’t eat any tea last night was so full of yummy sticky toffee pud. Thanks for everything
Love Rachel 2 (or is it 1?) x
Hi Fed Bloggs
Have only just read your post, and how lovely to find someone from this end of the county. I live in Bridgnorth too! I’ve just had last chemo on Thursday and now have 6 week wait for mastectomy, so loads of free time, and would love to meet up for coffee or whatever.

Rachel/Daffodil, it was great meeting you yesterday and thanks for arranging the next meeting, any day works for me. Hopefully I will be all done with chemo then and ready to party. I look forward to meeting everyone else who could not make it yesterday.
Hi Fed, welcome…haven’t seen you here before, hopefully you can join us at the next lunch.
Rachel, I hope the SE’s from your last TAX are minimal. Yes, that sticky pudding looked delicious, I think I will order that next time.
Enjoy the weekend.
Noanie

Melxx
That’s great, Mel.
Noanie-we’ll both be finished chemo then and can drink to that together. Will look forward to it.

Sorry your feeling so poorly Honeybee, hope you get some medication sorted for the pain asap. I’ve been feeling really crappy for the last two weeks myself after 2nd TAX, taking me much longer than normal to bounce back. The fatigue and mouth sores are horrid, really gets you down in the dumps.
Hope everyone else is OK and not suffering many se’s.
Noanie
Hi all
Last tax has really hit this morning-sore throat, ears, water infection, aches and pains. Sorry to hear you are suffering too, Maz. Hope it improves soon. And good luck Noanie with your last one-I hope it’s not too bad. By next time we meet you and I will be finished so can celebrate with a glass or two of wine! We deserve it so much!
Love to all
