Great news Rach, hysterectomy is a doddle after what weve been through so good luck!
Della so so news, give with one hand (lump size) take with the other (crap!!) but as long as its evening out overall, thats the key.
I am free for the whole of January, all evenings and weekends so far, I would suggest we target a time so everyone can put it in their diaries and build other committments around it.
I only thought evening because we tend to rush during the day because weve all got other places to be but an evening after kids have gone to bed, might encourage a less rushed catch up.? I would happily cook for all of you if you can make it to Clive? As long as lasagne will do! If thats a goer then i can pm all who could make it?

I’m good for a pavlova as alternative dessert or could bring selection of cheeses and some wine.Dont come on here very often so a text would be better than a pm if possible.I have no committments in January atm:) I can never do Monday and Tuesday daytime but otherwise count me in
Sounds lovely but I won’t be able to come as am having op on 9th January and won’t be able to drive

good news about hysterectomy Rach, mine was last Jan and my doc said I was ok to drive after two weeks, see how you go but after a week of soreness it was really ok.

Hello everyone
Am enjoying lazy days and making the most of having nothing to do. Rach, I am not allowed to drive for 6 weeks and the surgeon said I must stay off work for 3 months as it was the third time the scar had been opened, I’m fairly mobile and am walking around fine and pain is very bearable as you know, but I will take his advice and be a good girl for once in my life. After my bilateral mx I was determined to prove something I think and I drove after a week and went back to work after 4 weeks but this time I’m just going to enjoy these few weeks and make the most of it. Just praying there was no cancer in there and will have results of op next week, but he did say that surgery would be the only treatment anyway so I refuse to get too wound up!
If I really feel I can safely drive over i would really love to come but will see how I go

Rach, sit back, have a rest and if you feel able it would be fab to see you. As you know I broke my ankle 3 weeks after my hysterectomy from tazzing about with the kids so really wish id followed your lead!
30th looks like a goer then, can I just ask would you all be able to do the 29th instead at all? Thats a Tuesday? Maybe then Sue could make it and as you know Im freelancing at the moment and have a trial at Hereford on 31st Jan so really should prep it the night before? If not, no worries I can do it earlier and brush up on the morning.
In the meantime I will pm my postcode.

Hi, may I join this thread? I live in Oswestry and have only just started on this forum. I was dx with bc in Sept 2012 and would like to meet up with you all at some stage.
I have chemo on 28th Jan so will be out of action for the time being but would love to come along at a later date if that’s OK.
