Hi Team,
I wanted to ask whether having pressotherapy on either the legs and arms or just legs was safe post breast cancer? I am 6 months post surgery, I had a single mastectomy (and reconstruction) and one lymph node removed and am recovering well. My lymphatic system is a bit sluggish, but I have had pressotherapy before all of this, which does wonders of clearing out toxins.
Would it be safe to try pressotherapy again, or are there any other alternative therapies I can try?

We are unable to say if pressotherapy is safe to try for people who have had treatment for breast cancer as there is insufficient evidence for its use in this group. We would always suggest that you consult your treatment team before having complementary or beauty therapies as they are aware of your individual situation. Its also not unusual for therapists to request consent from your treatment team or GP if you have had any medical conditions including cancer.
